Information about consumer data and media insights: Our business involves advising clients on customer acquisition strategy using consumer data and media insights. Where we process consumer data on behalf of clients (e.g., in the course of providing advisory services), we do so as a service provider, and that data is governed by the terms of our agreement with the relevant client — not by this Site policy, which addresses information collected directly from Site visitors and inquiry submissions.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (e.g., Social Security numbers, financial account information, health information, or precise geolocation) through the Site.

3

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and evaluate potential client relationships
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
  • Analyze Site usage and performance (analytics)
  • Send communications related to your inquiry
  • Market our services to you, where permitted, and with the ability to opt out at any time
  • Comply with legal obligations
4

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers who support our operations (e.g., hosting, email delivery, analytics, CRM tools), under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations
  • Legal authorities, where required by law, subpoena, or other legal process
  • A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

If our practices change such that we share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes ("sharing" under the CCPA), we will update this policy and provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism as required by law.

5

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, analyze traffic, and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect Site functionality. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, as no uniform industry standard exists for interpreting them.

6

Your Privacy Rights (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, may give you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, or shared
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (not currently applicable, as we do not collect sensitive personal information via the Site)
  • Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights

To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@mymachina.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

7

Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.

8

Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
